Snakes on a Dane

I GET TO READ ALL KINDS OF AWESOME STUFF. THIS IS WHY I LOVE COLLEGE LITERATURE COURSES. ASDFJKL;SAKLJLKSAJLJSAL;LSKJFLKSDJLKJSDA;KDJ :DDDDDDD
I'll get my take on Beowulf up in a few days. However, there's a Danish character named Halfdane. WTF. Was he, like, born with only one arm and leg? Or was his mother Sweedish? Either way, that's the same naming-logic behind Snakes on a Dane Plane. And the phrase "seasons of woe" just makes me think of a bunch of sad singing Danes with AIDS.
Also, my Medieval Lit teacher speaks Anglo-Saxon and Old English. It's INCREDIBLE. <3333 That class is going to win so hard.
On the other end of the spectrum, my Psych course on drugs, the brain, and behavior no, I'm not just taking it so I can write more accurately, YOU'RE LYING didn't happen today. The teacher just....didn't show. Go figure. Oh, well.
