... a random post from yours truly.
Sorry, dear LJ friends, I've been busy. And I will be, until Monday or Tuesday next week. After that, I'm going to catch up with your lives, comment on your LJs and post a long overdue entry about the HeroCon (this anime convention that was held last week). I've got a research paper due next week, so until then, I have to keep on working. When I'm done with the research paper, I can do the things that I want and have to do - go Christmas shopping, enjoy Christmas parties, watch some anime/J-dramas, things like that.
Anyway, this is just a super random post, because I just felt like saying this.
I want to learn how to cook! Or bake! It's always been a dream of mine. I hope it's not too difficult. I saw some anime gingerbread cookies on a few web sites - people who were creative enough to make gingerbread men and women fashioned after anime characters. I want to make some - it would be a great and amusing Christmas gift! I also want to make no-bake cheesecakes and pies; Andrea gave me some recipes. Maybe then I can start a business. XD Haha. Okay, it's too early to say that, since I have VERY, VERY little experience working in the kitchen. (I can't even peel apples properly, and I'm ashamed to admit it.)
But still... I want to try making pastries this Christmas! I want to make my own cheesecake, and to create Darker than Black, Ouran, FMA and Death Note gingerbread people. I can only hope that people will be willing to taste-test them. I don't think they will need stomach pumps... will they? :p
In other news, we're having a practical test in wushu. Oh noes! I am still crappy at wushu, though I think I have, at best, shown VERY MINIMAL signs of improvement. If there's any consolation, the practical test will be done in groups. I'm actually excited to see how my groupmates and I will choreograph our movements to "I'll Make a Man Out of You" from Mulan. It's one of my favorite Disney songs.
Okay. Back to the research paper. I need willpower; I must concentrate! (But it's so hard to.)
