Tomorrow around 1300 I take off for Alaska... I've still got 5 more days in the holding cage until I reach Kodiak, and then they ship to California, and then it really begins.
I'm nervous, sad, and scared about being SO far away from my family and James. No more of this running-two-flights-of-stairs-up business (or with anyone), and there won't be any more set breaks to go visit home. It's a little weird.
Wish me luck, send me mail (check Facebook for address), and I'll be writing in this a lot more once I get to Alaska/CA/etc. I didn't mean to neglect this so much, it wa sjust that we didn't have internet access in Maryland and I only got 1/2 hour on the Thurmond
