let me start by saying that this morning i found a dead fly in a piece of lettuce i was about to put in my sandwich. pretty much ruined my appetite. yeah, dining hall food...
so things are good i guess. school's as a good as can be expected. i'm less bored than i was last year which is a nice change. i actually have work this year, but nothing i can't handle.
i can't wait until all my college stuff is done and taken care of. i just want to know where i'm in, make my choice and be finished with it. don't get me wrong, i'm wicked excited for college. i don't like the whole application process though. i still need to write my essay--haven't started it yet and my first deadline's a week from tuesday. i should really do that today.
this weekend's been kind of meh. i was supposeddd to take the SATs yesterday but ended up being wicked sick all day. i tried to take them anyways but i was gonna do really bad. soo hopefully i did good on my ACTs otherwise i don't know what i'll do. other than that, just lots of homework + whatnot. oh, and the one good thing about being stuck in my room all day was that last night my roommate and i actually bonded a bit...we ordered pizza, watched a movie, and talked for a bit. hmm, it was good i guess.
last weekend was nice, i went up to MA for a couple days. plans got changed...as usual...and between that + the snow (in october?) i only got to see my old group for like 20 minutes, which sucked. and jay bailed so i didn't get to have lunch w/ leah + him, as planned. however, saturday night jon + i went to this halloweeen party and i got to meet the other guys in his band (and their gfs) and finally got to hear them play. anyways, jon never stops amazing me. i can be having a meltdown and by the end of the conversation he'll have me laughing.
thanksgiving vacation is coming up soon. originally i was going to spend a full week in MA but apparently that's not happening anymore. so i think now i'm going to drive up friday, see boxford/topsfield people on saturday, go to jon's saturday night, spend sunday + monday night w/ jon, hopefully hang out w/ tressa during the day on monday, then drive home on tuesday. we're going to my aunt's for thanksgiving and maybe staying there a couple days. at some point i'm also hoping to see devyn + some other chambersburg people too because i haven't seen any of them since like june, and i do miss them a lot. dev + i were texting back and forth the other day and it got me thinking. i may not have had a very good year last year, but i definitely met some cool people. it'll be fun catching up.
sooo i only have a week of classes, then end of term exams for a week....one a day pretty much....then like 3 weeks of class.....then winter break. yesss. i <3 vacations.
