crescent moon out so near, so bright, so pretty

Feast of the Black Nazarene canceled out the 8:30 p.m. mass the family was supposed to go to. We'd went straight home after seeing so many people trying to get in and out of the church by one of the malls. They were the only ones that had the late masses on Sundays. Mum wanted to go there because it was their feast day, the feast of the Black Nazarene. Coincidentally, the church had the same name as the Black Nazarene, Nazareno.

Trip out was not all in vain, however. I got to go moon-gazing. There were a few stars and the moon was quite near, as it had been during the wolf moon-ed night late last year, and was lighted in a beautiful crescent that you could see a few of those above the lighted part. Now, if I could only have taken pictures of it. I only saw it in passing through roads on the trip out and back home.

PS
Can you believe everything in here are thrift finds? Probably except for the jewelry wherein everything except for the necklace, are all locally bought from a shop that sells a lot of cool and cute things (mostly Chinese and Korean) cheap somewhere near the local market nearest our place.
