Your sketches are so cool! =D I have an interest in art, too, and I just love seeing other people's anime drawings(It's even cooler seeing them from my friends). I think you're really good! ^_^

Actually, when I do the first lines, I often do make a light sketch(making many strokes for one line) but then once I start 'solidifying' the lines using a darker pencil, I erase those.

Yeah, I'm unfamiliar with the aspects of photography as well so I wasn't really looking at the lighting when I took those photos.

As for my coloring... Yeah it smudges so bad when I do it. There's also the fact that I can't get the shades right (that is, making the color lighter or darker in the drawing depending on the light angle it would have). Pfft. My coloring is on par with that of a 3-year-old's. xD

Oh and don't worry. I'm happy for any advice. You're not stating any obvious things. I learn a lot from what you say ^^
