morning things

this morning i woke up at 8:00. i layed around and cuddled with myself. last night i spent a large portion of it cleaning my closet. it's always kind of therapeutic to go through stuff and sort it out into "financial papers," "memorobilia," "stuff to get rid of," etc, etc. and then i found my book! i knew it was around here somewhere, but i have been itching to finish derrick jensen's "a language older than words" and have been quite irritated with its mia status. so this morning i opened it up, curled up width-wise on my bed (i can do that because i'm so wonderfully short), and finished the whole thing. it felt so good to spend the early morning reading. it's been a while since i have done that. now i'm going to finish the search-a-word from yesterday's newspaper that i started doing last night and then i'm going to keep fighting with the piles from the closet that need to be organized upstairs. wow, my life is exciting!

this afternoon, i'm going to go for a bike ride outside. it won't be a road ride or anything, but i'm going to lock down my shocks and rock out on the road with my mountain bike. and after that, i'm going to clean it!
