GEEKED OUT!!!
So, last Saturday (12/6), Missy, Jackson, and I went to the Leonardo Da Vinci "Machines in Motion" exhibit at the South Carolina State Museum. I GEEKED OUT!!! We spent 4 and a half hours at the museum, 2 hours on the exhibit alone! We got plenty of pictures (posted on Missy's flickr page). Jackson loved the crane, the portable bridge (monkey bars to him), the bicycle, and the "Armored C-3PO. I geek'd out on all of it. I hope to be able to build some of the items in the exhibit, but right now, I've got too much on my plate as it is... I called and spoke to my Laurel about it, and when I hung up the phone, it displayed 57 minutes, 57 seconds. Odd, eh? The couple who were supposed to go with us had to cancel, but I really appreciated the time with just Jack and Missy. I don't get much time with just them, and we needed some family only time. We did end up meeting with Melody and her kids for supper. Jack crashed on the way back home and Missy dozed a bit as well.
