(no subject)
Dealing with chores and admin-ny stuff over the last couple of days; calling up various companies to terminate my accounts, dealing with landlord and shipping companies etc. Wow.. relocation actually does require planning.
Also, did the obligatory shopping chore with my mum and came close to buying a gown today. As in, a proper gown. LoL. Nice colour, very flowy and the cutting actually fit. But I thought it looked a bit too formal. Phew.. no "You've put on weight" comments from my mum this time round. Don't think I've actually lost any weight, but am definitely more toned from climbing. Now, if I just lay off the booze... hahaha. Fat chance of that happening this week. St Pat's day around the corner and have 2 drinking days lined up for the next couple of days.
I finally "met" all of S's climbing friends online. 8 ppl in one chatwindow. Not bad.. the last time I tried to squeeze in 10 people into a chatwindow (for a meeting), I think we went over the limit and ppl kept being booted out. In the end, we had to meet up because (a) it's very difficult to control ppl and what they say in chatrooms, they speak out of turn, talk rubbish etc and it ends up being more time-consuming and (b) we couldn't fit everyone into one window! It was a bit embarassing being introduced to all of them.. they came online one at a time, so I had to be introduced like 7 different times. In the end, S had like this whole profile speech about my likes, dislikes, hobbies etc. It was faintly reminiscent of having to listen to R introduce me to her friends. I now have two personal PR officers... both of whom decided to take on that task on their own accord. S is a "connector". :)
