Ahoj from the Czech.

After many ups and downs while leaving, I finally left. My brother and Dad took me to the airport, I did have to fight back tears, but I made it, and I felt some resolve. The flight over went well and I ended up seated next to a girl my age who was going to visit her father who is in the army in Greece. She hadn't seen him since Christmas and her flight was already two days delayed because of the riots in Greece. We got to know eachother a bit more, and I learned that her Dad remarried, her Mom moved on, and she moved out (I do believe her name was Danielle.) She lives in Halifax now year round, with another roomate. But her story just made me reflect on my last few weeks of leaving... I know moving on isn't such a huge deal, but I think my family is just unbelivably close. We love eachother to the point that we drive eachother crazy. I don't know how to solve it other than to live for yourself and then try your best with the rest. Poor Danielle though, she's detached, but still so connected to her family in some ways. When we left each other on the plane that day, in London, she had already missed her connection. All I could think of is her Dad waiting at the airport for her, brimming with excitment, only to be let down again; and then her, being worried and upset and anxious. After I met her the rest of my day was just spent sending out good vibes to her. She deserved them more than I did. And she opened my eyes to families, and being apart. I hope she finally got there, and it was everything she hoped for.

So I got to Czech and we went straight to Marek's parents. I was so so so tired for the first few days but everything was fine after. Following that we drove back to Jihlava, and as soon as I stepped into the apartment it was like clockwork. Just an absolute feeling of home and comfort. I'm not as rebelious to the idea of living with Marek this year. Last year I loved it, but I also didn't know what to do with the spare time, and with the being so close to eachother. This year is like, just working out. I feel great, and I feel like I have needed this (and will continue to...) I'm not trying to solve my million pieces overnight. My goal this summer is to do what I need to do, and to be less stressed. One of these things involves cutting the light of my Facebook for a while. Too much time is wasted there, too much valuable time with a boy I love. So, I'm saying see you later suckers.... I'll try my best, anyway.

Today we drove back to Marek's house and stopped in the city to look in the mall. I went to a few stores and fell in love with so, so, so much. Clothing is exciting. Clothing makes you feel new. I haven't had that high in a while... and when we drive back on Sunday I most definitely will pick out some things. When I buy clothes, or try them on, it's all I think about for a while. I just dream about them. About me in them. I know it's stupid and selfish... but my excuse is that it's also my immigination. And hello... I could have so many worse bad habits. Let a girl shop right??

So this is all I can write about now... I will always have my ups and downs. That's ME. That's because I'm YOUNG. That's because I am a human, who isn't plotted out from A to Z. I'm okay with that.

I wish everyone my VERY best... and I promise to do my best, to write more (what with my facebook-free time now.) Expect big things, fellow journalists.
