This happened about 1967 when I was in in high school, about 16yrs oldl. I was working part time, afternoons and Saturdays, in a sort of garden/pet supply business. Today's Dilbert cartoon strip rang a familiar bell with me today. See, back around 1993 the company I worked for had an engineering department with 17 people. Then control of the company was acquired in 1994 by a Canadian fellow. I recently sorted through a stack of old IDE hard drives that have accumulated here at Casa de Loco over the years. The Connors were all toast, so today I took them apart to see what was what. Jim Williams passed away yesterday.  He was one of the few, near unique engineers who could design the most elegant circuits then intelligibly write about how it was done and go even further describing the uses for them.  I always admired his application notes, both for their succinctness and clarity. I still want to see my favorite, the Heap Sort, done this way.

Here in Missouri we've had some sightings of mountain lions returning. They were hunted out in the early 1900's along with black bears, wolves, bob cats and any other animal of commercial value or threat. Even deer got scarce when the great depression hit. We've been a long time returning to what Missouri used to be.
