(no subject)
I went home for the weekend. And now I am back.
It seemed to take four hundred hours to get here, but it didn't really. I just had to drive slow because (since it was Labor Day) there were cops EVERYWHERE. Not fun for people with mass phobias of them (that'd be me, for those of you who aren't up to speed.)
It was nice to spend time with Josh. We had a good time. I got to eat Olive Garden cheesecake, which we all know is one of the things I live for. (The others being oceans, and really good books, oh, and proving people wrong ;) )
So umm, I bought a chinchilla. I didn't mean to. It was an accident. I went in the store to buy chinchilla food, and I mistakenly picked up a chinchilla, and then I couldn't put it down. So, I've got a new chinchilla. I named him Squee. Tequila (my other chinchilla) tried to kill him. Josh had to cut the wires on the ladder so that I could separate them. Now I think I'm going to sell Tequila, he's just not that social. I also have another chinchilla lined up (a white mosaic) and it's a female, so maybe someday I'll have baby chinchillas, but who knows, cause she's a little bit older.
Am. Lit. got cancelled today, so no quiz over the introduction I spent all morning reading. I'm sure that I'll get a chance to show how little I know on Thurs.
World Masterpieces is getting much more interesting than I had anticipated although it was painfully tedious to get through The Iliad.
