moar iron man, moar everything!
I'm so utterly taken with Iron Man. This wasn't supposed to happen. I spent pretty much all week reading fic upon fic upon fic. It's a drug. Omg. And some of the stuff people write for this fandom is sheer brilliance. (I'm talking about the movieverse, not the comics because I've never read the comics in my life.) Based off of two hours of canon, people churn out amazing stuff. Seriously, never read stuff like this in my other fandoms. It's refreshing.
And I need moooooar. I've checked so many rec lists and I've just about read everything that people have recced. And, of course, I'm limited to what I can read since I'm trying to stay way from fics that are post Iron Man 2 or have spoilers for that movie. But a;skjfa;lskdjf;lsk the fics are amaaaaaaaaaaazing.
And so are Tony/Pepper.
I finally understand the buzz about RDJ and Tony Stark. I get it. The goatee pretty much wins at life though. I must say.
Right, so Tony/Pepper. Hot. Hilarious. And they remind me of Cal/Gillian in a way. The banter, the tension. If Gillian were Cal's personal assistant (and it seems like she is more and more these days instead of an equal partner), they'd be exactly like Tony and Pepper. Oh yes. Interestingly enough, getting into Iron Man makes me want to write more Cal/Gillian hahahahha. SO STRANGE. Maybe it's a weird proxy since I don't think I could write Tony/Pepper lol. Not after all the amazing stuff I've read.
But I've finished one more scene for that LTM fic I've been working on. Iron Man inspired it. Maybe one day I'll find a way to incorporate Iron Man into a LTM fic where Gillian will go off on Cal about how he's pulling a Tony Stark and killing himself with all of these vices and what will it take for him to stop being and utter idiot before he finally can see reason except don't build a mechanical suit so you can go throw yourself in the middle of danger like you do because then you really WOULD be Tony Stark and the world can't handle more than one of those.
Right. Got carried away.
So awesome awesome Iron Man. I can't even go into detail just how much awesome this movie inspires. And inspires for LTM apparently. I still don't understand how exactly that works, but if it gets me to complete this fic that started in NOVEMBER, then I'm all for it. Too bad Tony and Pepper never played the game Truth (not Dare because THAT would be dangerous) because that would make my life a little easier. Oh well.

Pied Piper looks UBER AMAZING for the next ep, does it not? I'm SO BEYOND excited for this. It's looks like Emily!In!Danger! this time and of course that's gonna get to Cal so I'M UBER EXCITED. We also get Zoe's last ep, too. That should be good. Watching the two of them fret over Em. I hope there's some Foster goodness too. Like calming down Cal and worrying about Em at the same time. Yeah. Or Em stays with Foster like they did with Ava. YEAH. CUZ I LOVE ME SOME EM AND FOSTER BONDING.
Apparently the ep after that is Exposed. That's supposed to be Burns' last ep and focused a lot on him and Cal and Gillian. That sounds good. I'm excited for that one too.
But, you know what that means, right? DARKNESS AND LIGHT IS THE EP AFTER THAT. YEAH. THE EPIC SCENE FROM THE A TO Z PROMO WILL BE IN THAT EP. THE KISS. THE EFFING KISS, GUYS. Interesting that FOX wants to show this particular ep after the Burns one. Hmm. Because in the original lineup, this was supposed to be right before the two Burns ep -- Headlock and Exposed -- so technically, Gillian's still with him. But if we go by the airing order, she won't be with Burns and she'll be kissing Cal. Idk why that's so important to me, but it is. I know the Cal/Gillian kiss is most likely related to whatever case they're working on, but still.

Oooh, speaking of SYTYCD, the finale was gooooood. I'm happy for who won. I'm thinking I might do a big post of my favorite dances from this season. Or as many dances as I can remember. Exciting stuff. I love this show. And I love Cat Deeley.
Oh, I also forgot to mention. I saw Inception last week! IT WAS GLORIOUS. Omg. The hype was worth it. What a crazy, crazy, genius movie. I can finally join in on the flail for this! I know I'm super late, but I'm here! What'd you guys think of the ending? I'm curious.
