random post about nothing really except for a new fandom
So I've been a terrible flister lately. I'm sorry. I will get to reading awesome posts soon and catching up on lives. But apparently, I've randomly decided to get into Iron Man. Yeah, I'm like two years late. I know. I've had the movie since it came out and never bothered to watch it til... about a week ago. I've watched it twice now. And am trying to read as many fics as I can that don't spoil me for Iron Man 2. I'm terrible. And I ship Tony/Pepper like whoa. LIEK WHOA.
Remember how I said two fandoms colliding in my head would result in my brain exploding? Now I've got three. Iron Man is the third one on top of Lie to Me and House. This. Is. Bad. I don't know what my brain will do now. Too bad I can't stick an arc reactor in my head. :P Good thing Lie to Me won't be on on Monday and the Teen Choice Awards will be. I probably wouldn't be able to focus on LTM lol and it looks like a fabulous ep. Confession: I almost forgot about the last LTM ep because of Iron Man. It was maybe about half an hour before it aired that I was like, 'OH! LIE TO ME. AT 8. MUST WATCH.' Too many fandoms in my head. Cannot. Handle. It. I applaud all you who can balance out so many like it's nothing. I can't apparently. My obsessive nature lets me focus on one and maybe two max. So three... yeah, we'll see. :P
What a terribly pointless post. Hopefully, if I ever get out of my Iron Man overdose, I'll rewatch the latest LTM ep and see if my opinion has changed. And one day, I will get to a personal-ish post. Maybe. And maybe some LTM fic. I've had something in the works since I posted the latest one (that surprise House ficlet with Wilson was a complete shocker to me and got me out of my LTM haze, so I've been trying to get back into it). I just need Cal and Gillian to work with me a little bit more, but they're being a bit difficult. But I have two complete scenes and three... bits written for three separate scenes. Fun stuff. It's a bit more serious than the first fic and in actuality, this fic was the original first LTM fic I ever worked on. Started the idea after 'Black Friday' aired. So crazy. Yeah, this has been sitting on my hard drive since November. But it's working again, so hopefully that'll turn up... eventually lol.
It's almost 4:30am. WTF is wrong with me? Stupid new fandom. Why did Iron Man have to suck me in? I never go for movie fandoms. So this is a whole new world for me.
