So, the Revolution is coming. No, not the fun kind that will end in my execution. I'm talking about the Nintendo Revolution. So, come a new Nintendo system we can naturally assume a new Smash Bros. game. Don't ask me how to play it with Nintendo's Remote Control Controller (I guess Jess can finally get away with calling it a remote), I'll leave that with my well grounded faith in Nintendo.
So, of course, those of us who have loved the first two games have been dreaming of who Nintendo will include this time around. Assuming that all previous characters have been included again, here's who I would like to see included:
From the Mario Series:
Wario
Birdo
Hammer Bros.
Wart (Bowser palette swap, bubbles instead of fire, hide in robe)
DK Series:
Donkey Kong Jr.
Stanley
Paulene (palette swap with Peach, like Daisy)
StarFox Series:
Krystal
Wolf O'Donnell
Zelda Series:
Wind Waker [cartoony] Link (pallete swap with young Link?)
Ganondorf (original move-set with sword)
Impa
Kirby Series:
Meta Knight
King Dedede
(last I heard HAL was not making this game, so there may be no NEW Kirby characters, however Kirby will probably still be included no matter who makes the game)
Metroid Series:
Samus Unsuited (lighter, takes more damage)
Dark Samus (pallete swap?)
Ridley
Others:
Captain Olimar
Pit (from Kid Icarus)
Balloon Fighter (loose balloons at intervals of damage, decreasing his jump capabilities)
Lil' Mac
Duck Hunt Dog
R.O.B.
Feel free to add more characters you want with comments, there are a lot of series I'm either unfamiliar with (Fire Emblem, F-Zero, Animal Crossing) or have lost touch with (Pokemon).
P.S. I'd love to see a cameo from Sonic in there as an extremely hidden character, but there is a greater chance of seeing Mr. Sandbag as a playable character than Sonic.
P.P.S. When I say "pallete swap" I mean that you would choose a character (let's say Peach or Bowser) and then costume/pallete swap them to get the new character (Paulene or Wart). This is how you can play as Daisy or UPS Mario in SSB:M. This saves on memory, since the game already has a large number of characters, pallete swapping could save space. Characters who would need stat changes (like Suitless Samus) would need an entirely different character to select.
