Jeep repairs, Airmont cycling
I just returned from work, via Midas. The total bill for my Jeep was about $1400, including the shocks, the tires, the exhaust and an oil change. Not exactly a fun bill to get, but a big chunk of it was work I had been putting off for a while.
The bike trips to and from work were excellent, although it was a little warm on the way to Midas after work. I did realize, while heading to Midas, that by increasing the distance I travel a bit, I can avoid the straight up climb on Airmont Road. I still have to climb the same amount, but I get to do it in shorter stretches, and I arrived at Midas in about 5 minutes less time than it took to get home by my usual route.
