Canada is Another Country
I was just talking to Bella about packing her entertainment for an upcoming trip with her grandparents.
She said, "I want to bring the iPad and my DS."
I followed up with, "OK, but what are you going to do during the Western Canada leg of the trip - you remember that they don't have electricity out there, right?"
Bella shouted, "What?!?!?!?"
As Meg chuckled from the next room, I said, "You remember how grandma grew up in Western Canada and didn't have electricity? You're going pretty close to where she grew up."
She pondered for a second and then said, "Yeah, but that was in the old days - they probably have electricity now."
