I do hope that everyone had a very happy fourth of july or - as it will now be known - "jesse helms is dead day".
I was looking at a couple of mixes that I had lined up, looking for the best one to ease us back into the daily grind and figured this one would do.
This is kind of an extension of the History of Hip-Hop podcasts I posted a looong time

oh, you is my most favoritest human on the planet at the mo'. i used to love it on late night Vh-1 when they would have like 2 hours of neo-soul videos on Friday nights. i lived in Phoenix so it would come on at like 11 p.m. instead of 2 a.m. and i would get home from the movies or whatever and sit and chill out to all those great songs. i love that shit!

you know VH1 actually has a VH1-Soul channel where they mostly play Neo Soul videos (along with the stray Nelly here and there).

I thoroughly enjoyed the channel for the year or two that my cable company carried it.
