i'm not actually going to sign up and run a 10k, but i'm training for one. i need some sort of goal that isn't just "run 3 times a week." so i figure pretending i'm going to run a 10k in 8 weeks is a good goal. that's 6.2 miles, for people who are metrically challenged. i just had to google that information, to make sure. maybe in the future i'll
