It's been quite a while, but my sister got me some music books for Christmas so I could start playing again. (Lord of the Rings!!! Also, some Andrew Lloyd Webber stuff, and I got myself a general Movie Themes book... it has Jurassic Park in it, I love that tune!)
I've been playing around on it for the last couple of weeks now, and to be honest it's really fun. I suck so badly now, having not played for what seems like forever, but it's amazing what you remember. I really need to work on my breathing and embouchure though.
I was playing away at some Phantom of the Opera tunes tonight, a little bit from Joseph, and also The Black Rider from LOTR. Pity my poor neighbours, pity them greatly.
I'm now sitting here listing to Chorale and Shaker Dance, which was by far my favourite piece to play in band when I was at school. It can be found here if anyone's interested (and I can't be bothered doing a pretty link, sorry).
