Well, I'm officially a bit forgetful. I'd booked tickets for the SGA con down in London at the start of February, then totally forgot about it. Thankfully I've had an email saying my tickets are now in the post, so I've (rather frantically) sorted out trains and days off work. Oops. Ah well, it's sorted now. And I'm only paying about £8 more than if I'd booked the train weeks ago, so it could have been worse.
I'm carrying on in an ok fashion for the 50 book challenge. It's not quite the order I was going for, but I've finished the two books I had in waiting before the two I was already in the middle of. They were a bit of a better size to take into work you see. So, books 3 and 4 of the year are:
4. Hardboiled Hard Luck - Banana Yoshimoto
5. Blink - Malcolm Gladwell
I'm hoping to finish Kushile's Avatar during the journey to London if I don't manage to get it done before then.
Right, I'm going to spend this evening attempting to set up a wireless network so I can use the internet in my room rather than under the stairs. The last time I tried this I somehow managed to crash the net on the family pc too, so here's hoping I'm a bit more sucessful this time. Keep your fingers crossed, but if no-one hears from me for a few days, assume it's gone badly.
