Zzzz.

A couple of things:

First off..... Reo passed his test!! He is now a Canine Good Citizen!! Wooooo. :) He has some things that he needs to work a little bit on, to "perfect" but he performs well enough that he passed the test. :) So now he gets a nifty little certificate and we get to get him a cute little patch that says he's a good citizen. ;)

Now I really need to get a car so I can take him to the group visits to the nursing homes. They do the visits every second and fourth Wednesday of the month, at 2:30 in the afternoon, which is *perfect* because I don't work then... but I do not have a car. And no one in the group lives up this way so I can't catch a ride with any of the other members. Even more incentive to get that new vehicle.

In other news, when Joe and I went to Target today we looked at some of the exercise stuff, and I got some "light" and "medium" resistance bands to add to my workout. I had used one for my bum knee when I was going through physical therapy but lost it. :( These bands should be good for helping my legs strengthen, and also better for an upper-body workout (which I wasn't getting much of, except for my wimpy push-ups.) So we'll see where that takes me. Plus, I can toss these bands into my suitcase when we go up north and do exercises there.

Joe and I are going to Michigan and Ohio in the first week of June, and I have mixed feelings. It'll be a little bit of a financial blow (making things tight) but also there's a lot going on that week that we're missing out on. Get-togethers of all sorts, and even our anniversary. We're going to be in Michigan at my sister's graduation open house for our anniversary. We are going to have to make it a point to go on a date night to the BD's Mongolian BBQ then. ;)

We're also going to be able to bring Reo with us. But before that, we want to travel a shorter distance with him in the car. So my next Sunday I have off, the 20th, we are going to take Reo to Blue Springs, which is about an hour and a half or so away. If anyone in the Orlando area either knows of dog-friendly places we can bring him, or wants to hang out or anything, let us know. :P We want to see how well he does riding in the car, in his crate, for a long distance.

Mmm, so that's about it for tonight. Gearing up for a big art-and-cleaning day tomorrow. That means I am going to bed NOW because my back and feet and head are killing me!! Good night. :3
