As some of you may know, I am an unabashed gadget lover.  Since Monday, when Apple announced the iPhone 3G, there have been a lot of criticisms about it's sparse new feature list and the new pricing plans that AT&T is putting in place for it.  Even c|net, a well respected technology news site has this to say on the subject:
