Maybe it would have been better if I had stayed at home that day. Maybe then I would have been spared the sight of my own brother being beaten into a bloody pulp while being unable to help. The tears that had been overflowing from his clear blue eyes seemed to cause impurity to appear in those otherwise innocent eyes. The tears eventually mixing with the blood spilling from his cuts, glistening in the dark alley.
