Synopsis: Ruki’s smirk only grew wider as he watched the supposedly ‘manly’ one of the band squirm and fidget under his scrutinizing gaze.
Comments: ...I think I'm getting into writing mode again haha.
“Happy Valentine’s Day…” Reita mumbled as if thrust the delicate rose into Ruki’s unsuspecting arms.
“W-what?” Ruki stuttered as he stared disbelievingly at the object in his arms. Having regained some of his composure, he shot the bassist a cocky remark, “What the fuck is this, Reita?”
“…Nothing much,” Despite his attempt to hide it, the blush forming on his boyish cheeks was becoming more and more noticeable.
“Don’t tell me it’s nothing, you bastard. Explain or I’m not gonna accept it.” Ruki’s smirk only grew wider as he watched the supposedly ‘manly’ one of the band squirm and fidget under his scrutinizing gaze.
“It’s Valentine’s Day Ruki…” Reita found a particularly interesting spot on his shoe to stare at. When Ruki’s finger tilted his head up to look him in the eye, he nearly lost it and ran for it had the vocalist not grabbed his wrist as if sensing Reita’s thoughts.
“And…?” Ruki tried to keep a straight face. He really did. But as it was, the situation was far too amusing. For Ruki at least,
“And… Ilikeyousowillyougooutwithme?” Reita let out a breath he hadn’t known he was holding. And suddenly he felt a whole lot better.
“What the fuck Reita. Just spit it out will you.” As much as he loved watching the nervous bassist, Ruki had been waiting for this for far too long and he sure as hell wasn’t planning to wait another year only to have Reita chicken out again. No. Ruki’s patience was on thin ice.
“I… like you okay? Love you, even. So will you go out with me?” Having said it once already, Reita’s second time was much easier. But still, it wasn’t exactly easy.
“Well it took you long enough, you airhead.” Despite his somewhat rude remark he leaned up and placed a kiss on the elder’s cheek. Reita, having been through shock after shock, didn’t know what to do. So he just let his body take over and roughly kissed Ruki on the lips.
When they broke apart for air, they gazed lovingly into each other’s eyes for a moment or two but the mood was ruined when Ruki said, “I’m gonna spank you hard with this rose tonight for making me wait so long.”
