The crow convention is back in town!

[For those new to this phenomena - every year, once the weather gets cold, multitudes of crows descend on the Queen City. Much like a puppy, I'm rolling around in the live Muse album. Its drums are so fierce, the lyrics and guitar so strong... well, it wipes out all other more subtle scents.

This is a perfect musical choice for early Fall.

Everyone has different perimeters for what is necessary for a holiday to be 'correct'.  At the core, my Christmas needs Mr. Toast, chocolates in brightly colored foil, a Santa hat to stick bows to, the gift of warm socks and at least one round of Scrabble.  That's the baseline ( Read more... )
