[St. Hap's Coffeehouse] On Hiatus
Hi Gang!
I'm sure the news that St. Happenstance's Coffeehouse shall not be open for business this November comes as no surprise. It's not like I've been around much this year, after all. I want to be clear that this is simply a break, not the end.
To be honest, I'd kind of sworn off this year for writing. I had a burst of words back at the beginning of the year, but not much since. And I mean ALL words - it's been a terrible year for communication, though I'm starting the long, hard slog back. My Tiny Office-mate is doing Nano this year, and folks have been asking me about writing a bunch lately, so I'm going to give it a go. I am doing mini_wrimo [Are you? The initial sign-up post is HERE] and may poke my nose in over at Wrisomifu. But I don't have the energy to write *and* keep up St. Hap's. I'm really, really sorry.
I am interested in hearing about your November projects - writing or otherwise - if you wanted to share. Anyone around here doing Yuletart? Sign-ups close tomorrow.
I hesitate to say that the computer issues that have been plaguing me since the end of last December are FINALLY getting resolved. It is, after all, a Mercury Retrograde. But things are looking positive. We shall see.
