Yeah, it's a little cold and snowy in the Northlands right now. But then, it's January so that's situation normal.
What is not situation normal is my computer access. Well... considering the hijinks over the last couple years, I guess my having limited or weird access to the internet is the kind of the norm. Depressing thought, that. Ah well.
The current situation - the light's out on my laptop screen. Yes, again. I've managed to Macgyver together a hilarious half-fix, which means I can kinda-sorta read sites with light backgrounds. Yeah, this is why my dW has gotten very bright, and I've swapped colors/ dropped my header on LJ. [I'm grumpy about the header bit. Very grumpy. My LJ feels naked without it. >:(]I can only read tumblr - or posts with pictures - at work. I'm also about a week behind on reading my flist/droll, as it took me a while to realize I *could* Macgyver a half-fix.
So what does this have to do with you, gang? Well, this is mostly just to let you know that I'm really behind on reading, but that I'm working on catching up. Expect comments on older posts and delays in replies from me. Weekends are especially tricky. I've been doing daily photos, but can't currently *SEE* my photos well-enough to build weekly picspams. That will be an adventure for later.
I miss you, gang.
I'm on skip 220 on dreamwidth and livejournal, which isn't *too* awful. I might actually get vaguely caught up this week! \o/
