American Crow
Range: North America, from southern Canada to northern Mexico
Habitat: Fields, open woodlands, forests, urban and agricultural areas
Diet: Insects, carrion, small animals, nuts, berries, grains, eggs and nestlings, garbage...most things
Natural enemies: Cats, raccoons, raptors, ravens, humans
Differentiating features: Slightly larger than the Northwestern Crow, and voice is less nasally. Very difficult to tell apart from the Northwestern Crow - the clearest distinction is in range, which overlaps only in the Puget Sound area.

Range: Pacific Northwest coastline
Habitat: Near the coast in open woodland and fields on or close to the beach, and towns or campgrounds in these areas
Diet: Insects, carrion, small animals, crustaceans, small fish, mussels/oysters/clams/snails, nuts, berries, grains, eggs and nestlings, garbage...most things
Natural enemies: Cats, raccoons, raptors, ravens, humans
Differentiating features: Slightly smaller than the American Crow with a more nasally voice. May actually be a subspecies of the American Crow; hybrids sometimes occur in the overlap between their ranges in the Puget Sound area. Ranges otherwise do not overlap - American Crows do not live in the far northwest.

Differentiating features: The largest of the three birds. Wingspan is small compared to body size. Nasally voice much like the Northwestern Crow, and the range overlaps. Wears glasses and can't see a damn thing without them. Has the ability to type.
