This one features a long bit of Julian+Jadzia, mostly dialogue but I’m pretty sure readers can imagine the action (or something close to it).
The Backstory: Set sometime late S3. The story consists of a couple of flashbacks as Julian sits in his quarters staring into space and trying very hard to think things through. It’s a task that even his enhanced mind is finding difficult, because the events of the last few days do make sense, but in a way that’s hard to get his head around.
Jadzia, who’s noticed his preoccupation since getting back from the Tenzari system with Garak, comes to his door to see if he wants to talk. And he does. Oh boy, does he ever.
