Nick woke as soon as the first rays of sun poured in through the window. Rose was still here, and he wasn't sure if he was surprised about it or not. He wasn't sure how he felt about it, either. She'd probably sleep in for a while with as drunk as she was last night. He sneaked out of bed without waking her, to shower and shave. He tried to go about his normal morning, pretending there wasn't a beautiful girl that he hardly knew asleep in his bed. But that was way too hard. So, he went for the only mildly obnoxious approach.
He made another pot of coffee in the kitchen and poured a cup for Rose. The least he could do is pump her full of caffeine before she went on her way. He walked back to the bedroom with the cup and knocked lightly on the door before entering. "Rose?" he asked, loud enough to make sure she heard.
