Somewhere deep in the jungle and thousands of years ago...
A beautiful tree sits like a fine rose among mere shrubs. Its trunk is dark with the blackest black you've ever seen and it's leaves stay still through the wind and the rain like a golden crown. A thin perfumed haze highlights it lovingly and the animals do not perch from its branches. It bared no fruit until the day before last and all there is now is one single gleaming red apple hanging from a low lying limb.
It is beauty and it calls your name lightly on the edges of the breeze.
And you're drawn to it and it waits for you to meet it.
Come in, she says, and quench your thirst on a seed that was sown by the very fabric of creation.
[[ ooc mod note- We're looking for one character to tag this thread and taste the apple from the Tree, but others are welcome to accompany or be in the same area as witnesses. The biting of the apple will set off a chain of events that will lead to our next game-wide plot. This thread is taking place during the quarantine lock-down. Signing up for the thread is not necessary and the apple is available to whoever gets to it first. If you'd like to write your character finding and taking the apple in one tag, that's okay. Motivation as to why your character eats from the apple is totally up to you and can range from full blown naivety to devious intentions. Depending on what you add to the story, there may be NPC/mod involvement in the thread. And there will be consequences for eating the apple, both good and bad, but nothing negative will happen specifically to your character alone, so no worries there. Now, who wants to destroy paradise?]]
