The Bloods
Okay, you guys want to hear something sick? The guys down here have all been warned about this...
If you are driving around here and you see a car without their headlights on, DO NOT flash them to let them know. The Bloods (which as I'm sure you know is a prominent gang down here) are now sending out their new recruits to cruise around without their headlights on and if someone flashes them, they are to hunt down and kill everyone in that car. That is how they are choosing their victims. It's an initiation process to let the recruits into the gang. Is that not one of the sickest things you have heard? It was just let out in a police report.
Early this week (and still now, for some of them) Luke and the other reps for Apx were soliciting in the sketchiest neighborhoods ever...how do you sell an alarm system to someone who doesn't even have a front door? I ask you! And one of our guys (Craig) was actually chased down by three guys with tire irons...just for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Another of our guys, Calvin, witnessed a crazy scene where two cops were taking a guy down and had a gun pointed at his head and all that. Calvin said to one of the people he was trying to sell security to "and THAT'S why you should have a security system" (this had all gone down in front of this lady's house). And she looks at him and says "Stuff like that only happens once in a while. It's a safe neighborhood," and she slammed the door in his face.
