Ok, I've been a little busy, but now that I've got a moment I'll update a bit.
Laramie was really great. Seriously, you guys rocked. We've decided to run a letter I wrote to the cast and crew as a letter to the editor in the Observer since a review would be untimely but I thought it was necessary to say something. Anyway that'll hit stands on Thursday, though I hope the cast and crew got the chance to read it before hand (and don't worry, it was unedited so the final version will be edited and have the correct spellings of your names).
So I wen to Star Wars Episode 3 midnight madness at Toys r us and it was really awesome. I had a really great time. I got there at about 10:30 and the line already took up one side of the block so I had to stand on the other side of the Swatch store. There were a lot of people dressed up and thus a lot of people in Times Sq. shouting obscenities at us including all the children standing in line, which wasn't too cool, but their loss.
I answered a few trivia questions for M&M's including what royal family adopted Leia (Organas), what is the name of Vader's ship (the Executor), and what does Chewbacca look like if you dip him in Nair (a hairless wookie). The whole thing was really fun and i met some cool people and we helped each other out while we were inthe store looking for stuff. If I found something that someone needed (which happened lots of times) I handed them out to people looking for them and theydid the same for me. I ended up with some cool stuff including an exclusive holographic Yoda and abn electronic lightsaber that changes color from blue to red to accurately represent Anakin's transformation.
I don't think I've been as dorky as I have been in this post so far.
Anyway, since then I've been in a pretty much vegetative state, relaxing and doing a lot of nothing. Its been nice, but the week is before me once again and I need to resume looking for a new job (because I hate mine and want to leave ASAP) and hopefully some more song writing. Also continuing work on fanfic (its coming along nicely).
Well, that's all for now. Sin City will happen during the week. Other than that I don't have a lot planned out. So here's to a new week and hopes that my job won't souck too badly.
