(no subject)
i had a very restless sleep last night. i only got in about four hours of sleep in due to the fact that i kept having anxiety attacks and kept thinking about the cancellation of lollapalooza and kept playing my jazz performance songs in my head while playing air piano on my pillow (and under my pillow). finally, around 5AM, i woke up and got myself a tylenol pm (am in this case) and got my bag of (garlic) pita chips and a water bottle and laid in bed for a few minutes crunching away. needless to say, i had really bad breath when i woke up.
i was pretty uncomfortable the rest of the day. it wasn't so much that my eyes were tired, but when i get to jazz camp i get nervous and excited at the same time and i start getting really hot and my cheeks get warm. my grandma took me to my dentist appointment and the dentist gave me three shots of novocaine in my left cheek. THREE. he filled in two teeth (one on top, one on bottom) and i thought i was going to die. it still hurted. and he kept pulling my hair when he had his elbow down pressing on the chair on my hair. woah. okay. and then after i couldn't talk at all and i felt like a retard (just like i thought i would) and my mouth was distorted and i couldn't eat.
after i went to the bookstore and got the new vogue with kirsten dunst on it and the new self magazine. my grandma is so nice to me. you know what was sad, when i was looking through spin magazine, there was a full sized page advertisement for lollapalooza. and there was even an article on it about the great concerts this summer you don't want to miss. i got really depressed after that.
got to my dad's and then looked on my piano and there was my report card. i teared off the sides and closed my eyes and got all excited and then KABOOM. i opened my eyes and i started squealing with excitement!
final grades for semester TWO:
geometry: B- !!!!! i pulled it off!
art 1: B+ that surprised me because i thought i had an A, but oh well
world civilizations: A
biology: B- only because i did bad on the final
PE: A
english 9 l/c: A that is what excited me a lot because when i asked her what my grade was for the third six weeks, she told me it was an A-. apparently she changed her mind and she must have liked me a lot to give me an A.
i am so satisfied.
tomorrow is the big day!
