Do you think that the Beatles would be as popular as they were in the 60's if they came out today?
My answer: Without the Beatles or other bands from that era (the Rolling Stones, the Who, Cream, etc...), hardly any of today's music would be around. The 60's and the 70's made rock n roll what it is today (I don't find the current popular stuff all that good, but we'll leave it at that). I want to say yes, the Beatles would be as popular today as they were then if they came out today, but the Rolling Stones have done just as much for music as the Beatles did. The Who were probably the first punk rock band, you could call them that if you wanted to. They were rowdy, they were loud, they were outspoken, and Roger Daltry was so handsome it was crazy. The Beatles were such a unique group as it is that they could probably be even bigger today than they were then. If it's possible.
I went to the new guitar store today by the Mall, Guitar Center, and holy shit, it was amazing. It was so, so, so, so cool. I'll definitely be getting a telecaster there. It's amazing. I wanna go there with Mark sometime, maybe Friday since he said he had a bunch of things to show me on guitar. I didn't even suggest it, he kind of..demanded it. Either way, I'm glad because we never get to play together any more because we have different lunches, which makes us both mad. Luckily Mr. Oulette let's me go to the band room if I've finished up my work.
Speaking of work, whenever I go to work, it's not busy. Every time I work, it's dead. My dad said he should just pay me to stay home. I wish he would. Work is fun because I get to hang out with Marty and make fun of Flo with Marty, or I get to work with Bob who is basically 3 workers in one (he's been there sicne it opened up). Work may be fun, but it kills my feet. Bob actually told me to leave last night since I had 3 ours of homework, sore feet, and I was exhausted, plus it wasn't busy as usual when I work.
Whenever I'm bored in class now, I either:
A. Write a song/poem
or
B. Write the lyrics of another song
It's fun. Makes the time go by.
I got my SG back today. I haven't decided what I'm gonna do with it yet (sell it or not, when I get another one). I need a new amp. too.

I probably won't be updating this as much anymore because music (guitar, mainly) takes up about 70% of my time, school and homework make up about 20% and about 5% is hanging out with friends and the other 5% is everything else (food and sleep). I kinda like it that way. Once baseball starts..you may never see me, oh, and I forgot to put work in there, too.
