Put up your dukes, let’s get down to it
I spent this evening creating ads from the issue 12 cover art. It’s gorgeous, and crops down to size well. Of course, I was supposed to use that time to edit. I fail at editing today.
I was plenty busy, with emails, dealing with slush, and reading. I’m still working on reading a novel submission; I’m maybe halfway through it now. Still quite good.
Tomorrow we’ll be doing nothing but editing, trying to get it all wrapped up. And on Sunday we’ll try to get everything finalized and into the issue. Depending on how quickly the writers get back to us, we may end up pushing back the order of the 2nd proof until Tuesday instead of Monday. Still should give us plenty of time *KNOCKS WOOD*.
While I was making ads I also made some from the issue 11 cover. It just today occurred to me that I hadn’t yet. WTH? I should be running those on horror sites! I’ll see about getting that up on some sites tomorrow as well.
