I'll start with the suckage. My engine is completely trashed in my car. I found a replacement for $400, and it will be about $325 for labor, so I'm looking at a little under $800 to get the old War Horse back on the road. That would have bought sooooooooooooooooo much cosplay and video game swag :'(
After a bit of a losing streak, I've finally managed to get a bit of good news. I'm being promoted to 3rd Key at our GameStop after less than 2 months of being employed. That's unusually quick for someone to get promoted, but apparently I did something to impress them because they selected me over a handful of people who have been there far longer.
On an even better note, Hajime no Ippo: New Challenger has FINALLY started. The intro is so epic it makes me want to go running and punch trees every time I see it.
I would highly recommend watching the first episode.
I was informed MomoCon is like March 14 or something which was a huge relief. I've been scheduled for another fight on March 7 so I was a bit worried about them being on the same weekend, but thankfully that wasn't the case. I'm looking quite forward to seeing everyone.
