Sagramore finds Morgana's letter when he wakes, and the promise of seeing Mordred again is so good that he almost doesn't wait to drink the potion she's left for him, or eat either; but then he considers what he knows of wise women, and decides it would be better for him overall to do what she says rather than get into trouble later.

So he follows all his instructions, and finally shows up at her lodgings looking a great deal more presentable than he did the day before, in rather cleaner clothes, although his face is still bruised and worn, and he looks exhausted.
