as we all probably know

hangovers are a bitch. now im writing this because ive woken up with one everyday for the past week now. some are worse than other, yet it still doesnt make you feel better in the morning. the funny thing is this: I HAVENT HAD AN ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE SINCE SEPTEMBER 20 SOMETHING. a side effect of this medicine, alone with constipation, dizziness, and an increased appetite (which is a positive one but well touch on that in a second), is waking up feeling drowsy, somewhat queezy, and with a headache. to touch on the increased appetite for sec. i wasnt eating. not because i didnt want to. i actually prayed so i could eat. nothing worked obviously; i lost over ten pounds. now i eat like a fat ass. luckily i dont own a scale and have no direct access to one either. i've been having very detailed, long, colorful, sometimes graphic dreams lately due to the medicine. and im totally okay with that because at least im sleeping, right? yea until i wake up confused, disoriented as if someone spiked the punch i drank before bed.

to change the subject, i have the largest swollen lymphnodes under neck ive ever seen. yes, folks, you can see them with the naked eye from about three feet away. thats actually more disgusting than fascinating. i was dealing with them before, hoping the swelling would subside along with the common cold/flu-like feelings ive been having. unfortunately...they did not. i wake up this morning not being able to tilt my head towards the ceiling (i dont know why i needed to do that...perhaps just stretching), and the back of my neck hurts as well. the back, keep in mind, is a bit different than the front. there are swollen glands on the sides and the back of my neck that hurt, but they are no where near as large as the two at my throat.

now i must go because i finally have an appt with the student health center, where theyre going to tell me that im too skinny and depressed, to which i will direct them to my swollen neck.

its physical now,
steph
