well the truth hurts (HOOOO HOO)
right now i am bent over in an awkward position, sitting in a chair from the family room next to my bed on an old computer my brother brought up because he didnt want it anymore. some how it ended up on my bed side table, but the monitor takes up all the room so the mouse is sitting in my lap. this cant be good for my posture.
the reason i am sitting here is because one of the things i got for Christmas was the Sims 2 and so i was attempting to load it on to this computer since there's nothing on it and our other computer is as dumb and slow as a rock. so i got this computer ready, upgraded it to XP, installed the Sims and then it said it didnt have some graphic thing so i had to come online and download it. im in the process of the downloading right now. i'm at 5% with about 1 hour and 48 minutes to go. i'll never be able to play the sims. :( i dont know how im going to stand playing the sims in this position though. i guess ill just have to deal. it WILL work.
i guess this is the time to post the gross 'look what i got' list.
-Emergency Radio & Spotlight (from Santa. everyone in the family got this)
-Assorted goodies in the stockings
-The Sims 2
-Unabriged Dictionary AND thesaurus!!!! <3
-Emergency car kit
-Really cute clothes including jeans, pretty sweater, 2 long tanks, fun thermal, white cardigan, bathrobe, slippers, pink chucks, the same socks i got Kate and a cashmere sweater.
-New CD case. i officially separated them into A-M and N-Z.
-Music:
~A*teens - Greatest Hits
~The Libertines
~Interpol - Antics
~Air - Talkie Walkie
~The Donnas - Turn 21
too bad there are SOOO many more cds i want. i need to take a trip to Amoeba. My family stuck to artists that they had heard of on my wishlist.
so Christmas is now over. i think Danny and I are planning on going up to Aracta on the 3rd or so. we dont know how long we're staying. we'll see.
when all the extra family left, we watched the cats get high off of catnip bubbles. it was awesome.
now im just trying to waste some time for this dumb thing to download. it's on 16% now. movin' on up.
