Snowflake Challenge: Day 3

Jan 03, 2016 15:04

Day 03

In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you have created. It can be your favorite fanworks that you've created, or fanworks you feel no one ever saw, or fanworks you say would define you as a creator. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

Admittedly, this challenge is the hardest and the one I like doing the least. It's wonderful to read about other creators' cherished works, because that love is catching. It's what fandom is -- or should be at least -- all about. Sharing what we love. So for me, my works are more about sharing the love of a character, a pairing, a kink or whatever. So boiling it down to specific works is rather hard.

So, I mentioned The Chrysanthemum Vow the previous years; I think that one's getting old. So here's three of my least-viewed things I wrote in 2015 that I actually like. They're all very niche, so that explains the lack of exposure.

1. I'd cut your name in my heart (Thrillkiller: Hayley Fitzpatrick/Bianca Steeplechase; T)
Summary: Had not Bianca's sinful smile on the tabloids caught her eye, Hayley would never have imagined herself slipping into Gotham's criminal underbelly.
This is DC Elseworlds' Harley/fem!Joker which I just had to write.

2. It's bigger than the sum of us (DC Animated Universe: Harleen Quinzel/Wally West; M)
Summary: Dating her is really super, if only he could shake the niggling doubts about her motives.
Hi, I have a problem and it's Harley Quinn prompts. I wanna fill them all. And through the writing of this, poof, I gained another OTP.

3. contagion (a landscape of twilight and thorns) (Flashpoint (Comics)/Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox: Joker/Yo-Yo; T)
Summary: It's blood that leads her to the Joker, and madness that binds.
Yes, I have a thing for female Jokers 8D
