trouble with a capital T
So, I made a mistake today... and looked at some lj communities about dying hair >.<
Do you guys remember the shaved head, and the rainbow swirl? and the blond (yuck) and the blue chunk? and the purple chunk? or the blue black? or the blue black with pink?
*sigh*
I want to grow my hair out to waist length. I want to do it as my natural colour.
BUT.
I miss the FUN!
Plus, I hit a setback; apparently, working outside in the HOT sun and the WIND and the DUST is not good for hair.
So after 2.5 years of that, even though I had hair past midback (just past the brastrap) I've had to cut a bunch off because it was way too damaged.
So now I'm still like, probably 2 years away from where I wanted to be. My hair is about 4 inches shorter tan it was in June last year, if photos can be trusted.
I want to have fun! dammit!
And then there's the part of me that's wondering if I'm going to be in a job where I can have fun with my hair in a few years...
Ah well. we'll see, if I start gaining length again, maybe that'll help.
I thought about saying to heck with donating, and just playing with the long hair, but bleach and dye is hard on hair, so I probably wouldn't be able to gain much more length if I started playing too much.
I'm going to have to ask around and see if anyone local wants their hair dyed... Playing with Mike or Garrett's hair always made me feel better back home.
