So- I'm going to make this list, and make it public, and you can all help me figure out what I'm doing with my life next year.
(In absolutely no particular order)
- Do the early interview for Teach for America- I like ACE better, but I don't think I can do it. TFA has high rates of placement in your preferred area, but comparatively low rates of successfully training teachers, and I will not speak enough Spanish to be a desired teacher in a lot of LA methinks. Still, teaching is attractive to me, and being accredited by the end might make up for the lack of making money.
-MSW or Masters in Education from USC or another LA university. Perhaps not financially viable, but would be good for... life direction and boring stuff like that.
-Find a lucrative job and make a lot of money for a year or two while I seek out life direction. Mercenary. Perhaps better for future life.
-Live on the street while working in some sort of nonprofit job. Good life experience. Exciting. Fulfilling. No money.
