What? Are they just popping out of the woodwork now? [Medic's Log - Private]

As I record this log, Optimus Prime is attempting to convince Captain Fanzone NOT to strip down and disassemble the latest troublemaker to show their faceplate in Detroit...

An intergalactic Decepticon arms dealer named Swindle.

Granted, he'd be a lot less trouble in pieces, but it's just not really the Autobot way to do that to prisoners. On the other hand, I'm not sure where we would put Swindle if we can convince the Detroit Police Department to leave him in one piece, but Prime seems to think we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. In the meantime, the important thing is that he's no longer causing havoc and bringing the entire city to a standstill with the help of an All Spark powered time piece that was once in the hands of Slo-Mo, leader of the so-called "Society of Ultimate Villainy."

Though honestly, "Society of Ultimate Screw-Ups" is more like it. This is the first time we've dealt with Slo-Mo, but Nanosec, Angry Archer and Professor Princess don't constitute that much of a threat individually, let alone as a group. I guess we should just feel fortunate that Headmaster didn't feel the need to throw his lot in with them, or that Meltdown didn't somehow become involved. Far as we know, he's still in prison for the time being.

And sparks, I hope the other Decepticons don't really have much interest in trying to rescue Swindle. Communique reported that she'd picked up some active Decepticon communications just before Swindle was brought to justice, but they were too heavily encrypted for her to crack them and trace them. That Swindle... The equipment he's packing is really heavy duty.

Today's one of those days I wish I was still up to drinking like I used to... Nothing horrible has happened real recently, but I really do feel like all the little things are adding up big time right now for one slagging Pit of a processor ache. I used to joke with Kay that when the war ended, we'd hit the bars for a drink and I'd be her doctor on hand to spot her since she can't hold her high-grade for anything. Maybe I ought to ask her if she can spot me this time around, since I don't think Prime's interested in handling THAT duty ever again.
