Eva has been having a wonderful time since we arrived here in New Orleans. I do not understand some of the things they do at Mardi Gras but they are fun any way. I have a huge pile of beads that Eva has hung around my neck at every parade we attended. She seems amused by this, although it has been most fun to watch her catch and snatch the most ( Read more... )

When I'm loud and obnoxious, that's the hurricanes. Otherwise it's pretty much just me.

Oh? Have you become as fond of it as I have? Or is it because of my grandmother?

No I like it here. Especially since you have such a good time and memories here. You would like to see your Grandmother more often as well. I like her too.

Perhaps we should have a place to stay here, and Izzy and her family could come here as well sometimes.

*bounces a little*

Ooh, you mean like we could buy another house here?

*eyes light up*

Or oooh, one of the townhouses in the Quarter! But maybe a house in the Garden District would be better?

*grins*

I had no idea you would bounce, I take it that this was a good idea.

*laughs*

I'm apparently five years old, today 'cause that idea makes me very bouncy.

And yes, it's an awesome idea! Thank you for thinking of it.

*frowns*

Damnit. Except for maybe running into Julian every now and then.

If he bothers you he will regret it, you are not his to try and manipulate.

We will make that quite clear to him.

Damn straight.

Which means a house in the District is out, that's where he lives.

So would you like a townhouse in the Quarter or one of the old houses in the Fauborg Marigny? It's the neighborhood we stayed in when we were here last summer.

what will be the most accessable for you during Mardi Gras? You know we will be here for it every year if we have a house.

Well, a townhouse in the Quarter would be, but the Fauborg is right around the corner of Jackson Square. It's really a matter of if we want to deal with the noise we've had to listen to this past week.

*frowns*

And you get a say in this, too.

I know I get a say, but you know the city better than I do. I assume there will be places to look at once you pick a section and I will try to be more helpful then.

If we bought in one of the cities I have lived in then I may suggest more.

It's not a matter of being helpful, babe, it's a matter of your opinion counting too.

*smiles*

And you may get your chance when we're in Italy, I have a feeling I'm going to want to go back there often, too.

*grins*

Why do I have the feeling I created a monster?

I have an opinion, but we have yet to reach a stage where it is needed, once we do I shall voice whether I like what we see or not.

Because you did.

*smirks*

Good, because I fully expect you to voice it and not let my bouncing distract you when the time comes.

I know I can be pushy sometimes, especially when it's something I want.

Yes you can be pushy, but I am stubborn myself so I think we can find something suitable to both of us.

Although I do like to make you bouncy.

You stubborn? No, never!

*smirks*

Well, you're damn good at making me bouncy. Plus if you get too stubborn? I can use the bouncing to my advantage.
