Monday is knocking and wil not be ignored. The weekend is over and what remains of it knows that it should not dare to trespass on the weekday's terrible domain.
Oh...I don't want to go to work. The weekend really was too short this time. My brother and sister-in-law came up to visit for a couple days, and we took them to the Mall of America, aka the Mall of Numb Legs Because I Walked For Six Hours Straight. It was fun. We took them to their first coffee shop, and bought them cheese curds from the Wisconsin store. We went to the Rainforest Cafe, and sat in the LoveSacs. We bought chocolates at the Godiva store and Orange Juliuses at the Orange Julius store. Josh and his sister went on the new rollercoaster, and I hugged a giant frog. I tried on Dolce and Gabana sunglasses and then let the blood drain from my face when I checked the pricetag...wow. We played with the iPhones at the Apple store and played with Legos at the Legos store. And after all our walking, looking, playing, eating, drinking, sitting, riding, sipping, buying, gawking, gasping, leaving, and hugging, we found the Barnes and Noble store. And we read. And it was nice.
I wonder if anybody ever thought to introduce Friday to Monday. Imagine what Monday could be like with a Friday-like influence in its life.
