I've shot some photos the last couple of days, and I'm so happy with how they look. They were just kinda for fun, and I wasn't even planning on shooting today, it just kind of happened. Which sometimes, is the best kinds of shots. One of my roommates friends decided (apparently a while ago) that he was going to snowboard off our roof. We have an overhang above our front porch, so he pulled his Explorer up in front of it, made a small pile of snow behind it - and with some assistance - got up on the roof. It was awesome. And the day was so perfect up here. The sky was so incredibly blue, and all the frozen snow-covered tree branches just amplified the blue of the sky. It was amazing. I got my exposure right and used my fill-flash, and they came out really well. I would love to do it again though, so I could experiment with angles, and that sort of thing. It was still a good time. :)

Last night, I was taking some random pictures with my ring flash adapter of my roommate and her dog. It was just because I didn't want to do homework, and we were on the verge of being snowed-in. They came out really nice, and again, I'm happy with how they turned out. Kotie (the doggie) was getting so mad at me by the end. She was not thrilled with my flash in her face. But I still got a lot of nice looking shots, and I feel like I've really got my ring-flash adapter under control. I know I could use more practice with it, but I understand it a whole lot more than I did when I first got it!

Funny how it is when I have my reading or other homework to do, all I want to do is play with photos. And when I had photo homework to do a few years ago, I'd want to do anything but. Interesting how that happens. lol I did have fun today, and it made me miss doing spontaneous photo-shoots, sports or other stuff. It's even better that I'm happy with how the photos came out. I just can't wait to do another round and make them better!
