Parties
It has occurred to me (about five seconds ago) that I have not updated and spread the news about my parties. For starters, (stupid, happy grin) they were fun........
The first party on Wednesday was the one the girls were invited to. Sara, Maddie, Kenzie, Laurn, Kathryn, and Maura came. Maura also brought Pam and Katie with her, and I had invited Denise, but she couldn't come because she had to watch her brother. Mark and Jackie also ended up coming though the original plan was for there to be no guys at the party. The girls, minus Maura and the two who came with her, arrived around six that evening while it was pouring rain. They all somehow managed to start arriving in the ten minute downpour, the only one all that day and night. I made a run to go get two pizzas then we sat down and munched and talked for a few minutes. Then we jumped in the hot tub. Maura showed up but she was having some issues because her friend's aunt just died so none of the three of them got in the hot tub, they just sat outside it and watched us. Those of us in the hot tub played truth or dare. If there were winners in the game I'd have to put me and Maddie in that title with a draw. We had a hard time out matching each other.
Mark showed up (without the girls knowing it was him arriving) and Maura took one girl out of the hot tub house at a time blindfolded, for a "massage by a very special hired masseuse." Jackie came with Mark, but he just sat around inside out of sight talking with Katie and Pam. The girls weren't allowed to say anything about there session with "the masseuse" till after his identity was revealed. Sara, Laurn, and Maddie figured out who it was but didn't say anything till afterwards like good little girls. Maura, Pam, and Katie had to leave in the middle of the whole massage thing so I finished the session as the assistant in Maura's place.
After we got out of the hot tub after Mark was revealed, Mark and I somehow managed to get talked into buying booze and letting the girls drink. A six pack of Bacardi Raz was bought for the girl, a (second, since Mark had brought one to the party with him and had already finished it off) bottle of wine, and Jackie got a Budweiser 2-by-4 (for those ignorant readers: a giant can). Kathryn wouldn't drink, but the rest of us girls each got one bottle from the six-pack. I also had the last swallow of Mark's wine. While we drank we played spin the bottle (after Maddie downed her bottle that is). I frenched only Kenzie and Mark, but Jackie got tongue from Laurn and Maddie nearly tackled him once or twice to shove her tongue down his throat. I decided to one up her on that next time the bottle landed on Mark, so I pounced on him while he was standing from across a low table, he managed to stay standing (barely) but had to grab my ass to keep from dropping me. I think Maddie and I just drew again though. I'll have to work harder at knocking her out of the running next time.
Mark and Jackie left around two in the morning and I found beds for all the girls. Maddie and Kenzie shared the master in the basement, and the other three packed into a fold out bed in the computer room. I slept for maybe five hours in my own room then couldn't sleep anymore so I started cleaning up form the party. I made coffee around eight, and Maddie came upstairs. She left after she had a soda to wake her up. Kathryn woke and left next, living right behind me. I drain three LARGE cups of coffee and played on the computer while I waited for the other girls to wake.
I had to work that evening from four to eight. After I got off work, those people who were invited to my second party and could go, met me at work. Only Mark and Mike (Amanda's boyfriend and my coworker), came with me to drop the vehicles off at my house then head for Teachers. Maura met us there and Billy (Mike's and Mark's friend) showed up and played pool with the two guys. I learned that the starting the next Thursday that Teachers would have a new age limit of only twenty-one and up. That put a damper on the night for me. Apparently they had too many under age people sneaking drinks off other people, and rather than just kicking those individuals out, they decided to ruin the fun for those of us who actually follow the rules as well. They're going to lose over half their regular patrons from that.
One of Mark's Teachers friends wanted to sing karaoke but the DJ said that a certain number of people had to sign up to sing before he would start doing it that night. She found more than enough people willing, but the DJ was being a bitch and still wouldn't do it. We sat around for two hours more than planned waiting for him to start so Mark could sing to songs he'd signed up for. He never played them though. We went back to my house but were all to tired to hang out anymore, so we went our separate ways.
Friday night was quiet. I had an unplanned party Saturday night though. Amana showed up while Mark was working at the game shop and we decided to come over to my house to drink and have some fun. We called Mike, who got off early because of it, and bought some booze. Mike had another party he had to go to first, which was a send off for two of his friends leaving for Spain the next morning, so the rest of us jumped in the hot tub with only one drink each allowed to us while in it (for safety reasons). Once those drinks were finished we got out and went inside the house. Mike showed up and we all talked and drank. Mark and Jackie went outside to smoke and I went with them to talk. Mike and Amanda asked if I had a room where they could be alone to talk (and nothing much worse than that or I wouldn't have allowed it) for a little before Amanda had to go home. They disappeared upstairs for a while then Mark drove Amanda home (after an ugly argument about how sober she was) in her car and I picked him up from her house. Then I drove Jackie home since he hadn't brought his car. I went to bed since I had to get up early the next morning for work. Mark and Mike chatted till Mike was sober enough to drive home safely. Mark stayed the night.
I ended up calling in sick that morning and lazed about the house with a NASTY fit of allergies. I went over to the game shop late that evening and Mark and Jackie and I played Heroes of Might and Magic III on my new laptop for a few hours. The boys crashed here for the night and left early this morning, likely to go fishing, since neither of them have to work today.
