so another opportunity has come along my way and i am so excited to take it.
this guy that i had previously worked with on a film, decided he wanted to use me again for a tv show he is going to be putting on. its a music television show and they get to go to shows free, interview bands and then put it all together for this tv show. they even have record labels sending them videos of bands and some bands are giving us free merchandise like shirts and hoodies, to advertise on the show.
i know i swore off television after that lame commercial i did. i hate the sight of me on tv.
but this. this is an opportunity to meet so many indie bands, interview them and maybe one day i will be doing their filming for tours and what not. maybe i can even use my skills in photography. wow.
i am very excited about this. i think great things will come. even if great is just going from show to show and seeing so many bands and getting to meet them.
apparently they even have promos from the pixies, new found glory,saves the day and other well known bands that they use to draw people in. thats so cool.
so this is great for me. im stoked.
also my screenwriting class i am in has helped me meet some great people. some with great cameras and ideas. i need to start getting together with them and making some films happen. my friend tj just got a canon XL2 and he was saying he just needs some films. hes a really cool guy with zany ideas and i think working with him would be tons of fun. i need to get on ball with that.
this weekend me and jason are going up to san antonio to go see my little nieces. i am so excited.
